Manufactured from rust resistant galvanised steel, the Expandakabin flat pack portable office cabin has attractive smooth panelling, finished in a powder coated moss green (RAL 6005) on the outside. The interior of the insulated flat pack portable office unit is pleasantly light and airy with a durable, smart off white (RAL 9002) powder coat finish to both walls and ceiling which suitable for surface mounted electrics.

As the ExpandaKabin is modular it can be enlarged, by bolting on further units to form larger open plan areas. Simply remove the panels from the side or end of adjacent units, and join the Expandakabins together using an optional linking kit. This sectional system also means that doors and windows can be relocated within the Expandakabin structure.

All panels can be bought separately, so damaged ones can be replaced, or additional doors and windows can be added.

The Expanda-kabin flat pack portable office cabin has a guttered roof and features a double glazed uPVC window fitted as standard.

Once assembled the Expanda-Kabin can be moved by crane/forklift or demounted back into it’s neat flat-pack form for storage or transport purposes.

Optional electric pack includes: Consumer unit, 2kW convector heater with fused switched spur, External CEE plug + socket, Double socket outlet, Light fitting & light switch, 10m × 1.5mm & 10m × 2.5mm cables, 3m × 16mm & 3m × 25mm self adhesive trunking.

Walls

Vacuum bonded sandwich panels. Insulation – 50mm polystyrene. Outer surface – 0.60mm galvanised steel electrostatic powder coated in RAL 6005 (Moss Green). Inner surface – 0.60mm galvanised steel electrostatic powder coated in RAL 9002 (Off-White).

Roof

Exterior covering – 0.60mm powder coated box profile galvanised steel with two gutters for effective rainwater disposal to all four corners. Interior – vacuum bonded sandwich panels. Insulation – 50mm polystyrene. Inner surface – 0.60mm galvanised steel powder coated in RAL 9002 (Off-White).

Snow loading – 100kg/m2 evenly distributed.

Chassis/Frame

Box profile, hot dipped galvanised steel

Corner columns – 1.5mm cold formed DKP steel.

Supplied with 4 lifting eyes.

All surfaces are powder coated in RAL 6005 (Moss Green).

Floor

18mm OSB board fixed to galvanised box profile steel chassis, covered with 2mm PVC linoleum (flash point B1 difficult to burn, smoke density Q1). Floor section has no insulation.

Floor loading – 250kg/m2 evenly distributed.

Door

Frame – cold formed powder coated galvanised steel sheet min 1.25mm. Outer Door – both surfaces powder coated (External – Moss Green, internal – Off-White) galvanised flat steel sheet. 0.60mm thick, complete with door handle and replaceable euro cylinder lock. Size: 868mm wide x 1,900mm high (2′ 10″ x 6′ 3″).

Window

Frames – cold formed powder coated galvanized steel sheet 1.25mm thick.
Window – uPVC double glazed window frame with vacuum sealed unit. (4+9+4).
Size – 805mm x 1135mm.
Type – vertically inward opening mechanism with single handle and lock.

Electrical Equipment

No electrical wiring and equipment fitted. The unit is designed to have a surface mounted electrical installation. Optional electrical kit pack available.

Expandakabin is not designed to comply with Building Regulations approval.
